Unauthorized patches are in violation of the Boy Scouts of America’s insignia policies and infringe on the BSA’s trademarks and copyrights. We are committed to helping protect the use of the BSA‘s names, logos, and overall brand image. We will not produce Boy Scout emblems that do not receive the proper BSA approvals. Likewise, Scouts and Scouters should not use or collect unofficial merchandise.
To help you and others know that our patches are officially licensed, all of our BSA emblems feature our specially licensed BSA PVC plastic backing (for sew on and stabilization purposes) at no extra charge. Other licensed products will feature "Officially Licensed Product" holographic stickers or hangtags.
Additionally, PatchScan™ QR code stickers are required to be placed on all BSA Council Shoulder Patches (CSPs), Order of the Arrow Lodge Flaps and pocket patch sets, and Jamboree Shoulder Patches (JSPs).
