A: In order to protect its brand, the Boy Scouts of America has a set of official guidelines and regulations for all custom BSA patches. All designs should reflect the ideals and values of the Boy Scouts of America and not infringe on the trademarks of any other organization without proper approval. Additionally, all BSA emblems must contain a Boy Scouts of America corporate identifier; either, the initials "BSA" (without any periods), the words "Boy Scouts of America," or the BSA fleur-de-lis.
Every BSA emblem design is approved by the national BSA Licensing Department prior to production. As an Official Licensee, we'll work to make sure you're patches not only look great but that it also upholds the standards of the Boy Scouts of America.
